Hey everyone and welcome back to another amazing blog post. Today I wanted to spotlight Cat Eye Nail Designs! These super awesome nails are always so cute and come in the most amazing colors and designs. Have you ever used cat eye nails in your salon or on your nails?
For those who don’t know, cat eye nails are a type of nail design where you apply a mixed pigment or gel nail polish and polish the nail, before you cure the gel nail polish, you will take a magnet, either a regular rectangular one or one with a special shape and make a design in the nail. If you use a regular rectangular magnet it will create a line down the nail based off where you are holding the magnet, resembling a cat eye. If you are using a special design it will create a pattern of some sort, such as a star, heart, lightning or something special and different.
I love cat eye nails because they are a fun way to dabble and design in something without much work. This is great for clients on the go, or even ones that are running late. So you can still apply it really quickly and keep on moving.
Lately, the style is using a paper clip twisted in a heart shape attached to a magnet to achieve heart design. It’s incredibly hard but oh so beautiful to achieve. I love when people make special designs as well. So once I created a teddy bear out of cat eye gel. It took a while but it was amazingly fun. So what about you? Have you created any fun cat eye nails? Check out all of the designs below to feel inspired on your next cat eye set.
