I dragged through the morning again, oh darn those early mornings. But, I was fine by breakfast, its just something about food that soothes my soul. Makes me do a happy dance to have a good pancake.
Lettuce discuss show day! *did you catch that * So, I was all dolled up in this skirt I did a tailoring to, and I was so happy because I wanted to have a wow moment and really bring attention to the LE booth. I had a necklace made that wrote out Light Elegance, I thought it was cute, but my friend said it might be ghetto, oops. Take a look for yourself.
I bought a black skirt off amazon and used up a whole pot of chrome powder to make it sparkle and then added lights to it. Sadly, I did not add enough lights to it, so I didn’t like the end result, but others did. So that’s all that matters, here’s what I wore.
I ended up lasting in those heels for pretty much all day, I took them off to give myself a break for about 2 hours and then I was right back in them! I love heels, and as long as I can wear them, then I will. But about the show, excuse me I ran off topic here.
The show was fabulous! There were some people coming in right at 9 for VIP, which I forgot there was! Oops. I was thinking, dang this is kind of a small show. Oh my early morning brain. But I ran into Michele again and I finally got a picture! Mind you I am very forgetful and I just knew I would forget to take pics. So throughout this blog you’ll might notice I stole some off of Facebook.
I also met some more good friends and didn’t forget a picture, so YAY!
Now granted I saw lots more people, but like I said I forgot to take pics, and couldn’t find others, so Im sorry y’all!! But I still love you!
The show went on to be very fabulous and I was glad to help so many people, I was thoroughly shocked with just how much LE knowledge I knew! There wasn’t much I didn’t know, so that felt really good. I loved how many people enjoyed to play in the glitters, and also the demos, which I completely forgot about! Whoops, however, I had a wonderful friend Tiffany, who was excited to get a nail done by me, and I was excited to do it! And of course I had to do my fabulous glitter marble nail in a stiletto! I also received a wonderful gift from Paula Nichole Davies, who I met last year, and oh she brings me so much joy every time I see her! I have to see her every time I come.
Once the show was all over and done with, and I finished putting my good sales skills to use, we broke everything down, and I made my purchases, along with the the rest of team, and it was off to have dinner!
We arrived at a cute little cabin underground type dining place that had me leaving with the impression we ate in their basement. Yes, it really felt that way. It really wasn’t. But, wonderful food though. I loved our meal, and I’m sure Melanie was super excited to have a great vegan meal. I like when restaurants cater to all kinds of people. That’s the service I am always looking for.
My energy kind of died and I don’t really know why, but I could tell others around me felt it. So that was a little embarrassing, but all of a sudden it came back. Unfortunately, Mel and Tina, had to leave the next day, so we didn’t go back for a night on the town and that’s ok, cause it was a long day. But I was really enjoying the team, so I asked if they would join me at the pool, before they had to depart and say their goodbyes, Oh i could cry just typing about it. I loved our little team and I wasn’t ready for it all to end.
