Hey there southern sweeties!! Ready for a tune? I’m just kidding I have something new I want to share with you! But while it may be new to me, you just may have heard of it recently. That’s right! I’m talking about Gotti Nails!
Well, if you haven’t heard, there’s a new gel polish brand in the industry and oh boy does it have some amazingness to bring. Did I just make up a word? You all are probably used to it!
Starting in 2021 a Mr. Robert Nguyen introduced a new line of gel polishes fantastically named Gotti Nails. This line is filled with 105 of the brightest, boldest, and color fluid variants of the spectacular spectrum, ranging from vibrant violets to gaudy greens, every nail tech can benefit from an exclusive enchanting range. How was that for vocabulary skills? Let’s go!

Now, pictured above, top to bottom left to right, I have presented the brand’s Foil gel, Matte Top Coat, Base Coat, Holographic Cat Eye, and No Wipe Top Coat.
I used the foil gel on a nail tip displayed, I wanted to see how well it held up on just plastic, with no polish underneath, as most of you all are bound to wipe the inhibition of your color polish anyway acting as the same which I did here. I read that you cure for 60 seconds, and then apply the foil, no wiping involved. I wanted to be different and really try to softly pry it away unlike my usual slapstick method of snatch and go. And it worked beautifully! The entire foil transferred! So guess who might just be leaving behind white foil glue?!
I also wanted to try out the Gotti Holographic Cat Eye, so I laid it down over the gel polish color Back to Black. This is my first holographic cat eye and it looked like 9D! It’s so pretty! But what else I liked was that it had a magnet in the lid. So I didn’t even need to use my own.

Some of the colors from the collection I took the time to swatch, they are so pigmented and beautiful and I did it all in one layer! Of course I could of done two and would on a client, but look at how rich this is in just one!
The colors I used from left to right, top to bottom are No Dudes Nude, Karen Too Much, Fresh Canvas, Life En Rose, Going Into The Void, and Just One Kiss.

The next six colors left to right, top to bottom, are Pick Up The Phone, Un-Teal Death Do Us Part, An Oceanside View, Back To Black, Keep It Mauvin’!, and Steel In The Game.
Overall this is really nice quality set of gel polishes. I think the pigmentation is great and full of vivid color and the top/base coat and other specialty gels are wonderful too! It seems so good there just must be a catch! Naw, just great products from someone taking time to give great quality. If you all ever get a chance head on over to Gotti Nails, and try out a new bottle of polish, I know your client wants that next new color! See ya later sweets!
