Hey all and welcome back to another amazing blog post. Today I wanted to mention my favorite top 5 acrylic brands or companies. I thought this would be a fun blog to share as I know nail techs are always looking for the latest and greatest products to try.
Usually when in nail school we are quite limited to the supplies we do have access to. I know for me personally we didn’t even have a great brand to use. I believe it was a low odor which meant it dried super duper slow, and it was really sticky. When you’re first starting out this is fine to use as you are getting the hang of trying to use acrylic and you don’t necessarily know what you are doing. However, once you leave school or are just getting more accustomed to the nature of how it flows and moves, you can start to move on with more professional taste brands.
One of my very first acrylic brands was Mia Secret. I loved this brand as it had a wide variety of colors and glitters. For me, thats all that I needed, I didn’t care about cover powders or coffee smelling monomers, I wanted to be fancy and do all of this beautiful marbling I still love to do. And Mia Secret was just so perfect for that. To be honest, I still recommend Mia Secret for new nail techs, as it is a professional brand, but you get the ease of finding it in multiple places such as Amazon or local nail supply stores; which is really what you want, because you are licensed or yet to be licensed and this is the most affordable quickest option.

So I guess you could say this was a honorable mention to the brands I am going to share with you. Now the next few products are absolutely incredible and are used all over the world. They have a great reputation for quality, customer service, and they are just darn good to work with. And let’s face it, when you are using these products on clients, you want to use high quality. So let’s begin with our first product shall we.
Elegant Glass Nails

Elegant Glass Nails is a wonderful brand with a nice solid foundation. These products are great for those coming right out of school and needing an all in 1 kit to tackle any nail service. Elegant Glass Nails or EGN for short, sells an array of color acrylics as well and also offers products that set fast! Be sure to remember this brand is for professionals only.
Young Nails

Young Nails is my very first professional acrylic brand. Once, I graduated nail school I went out and looked for another brand to try. I saw Young Nails! I didn’t know much about it at the time, but oh when I got my hands on it, I knew it was the one. I also traveled to California to get a week of training by them as well and that was absolutely life changing. I highly recommend Young Nails to any nail tech looking for a great core kit, they have some color acrylics as well, but not too many. But thats ok, their core powders are all you need to blow you away!
Valentino Beauty Pure

Valentino Beauty Pure is great acrylic line for those seasoned professionals. When I tell you that this is a premium acrylic, I mean it. Not just because of the price, but because of the quality. This brand of acrylic is top notch. Some of the most followed nail techs on Instagram use Valentino Beauty Pure acrylic. It is of luxury to own this brand. It is soft, it is velvety, and it is well, pure. I highly recommend it to nail techs who are looking for a wide assortment of colors and are looking to expand their current line.
Glitterbels

Glitterbels is hands down, one of my favorite acrylic brands. Mainly for their large assortment or color and glitter acrylics. I am a sucker for glitter and a hoarder for nail products, and Glitterbels has just about every color and glitter mix you can think of, it’s endless. When I first started doing nails I modeled my marble style after Annabel because I was just enthralled with how she did her marbling. It’s just so beautiful. So if you’re looking for range for your collection in your salon, look into Glitterbels.
Notpolish

Notpolish is an amazing brand for versatility. They come out with a series of collections that are so different than the competition. And they are a really amazing high quality brand as well. One of my favorite things about this brand is that they have a glow in the dark collection which is super rare and hard to find. Most glow in the dark products are just ok. But these acrylic powders are actual night lights in the dark. I love them for that, they deliver on what they say. These are so perfect to add to your growing collection.
So what do you think? Do you feel like you found some new products to try out and bring over to your salon? Each one is very different from the other, and they all serve so many different purposes. However, they can all come together to make a great package for your salon. And no matter if you’re a beginner or seasoned nail tech these can all be so helpful. I say if you’re just leaving school make sure you try out one of the acrylic kits before branching into a whole line you can purchase. That way you can test the waters to see what you personally like out of a product, such as speed, or consistency.
I do hope this list has helped with your decision making process on what acrylic products you could try out. And hey, if I get a chance to try out some more too, I could make a part 2! So stay on the lookout. Also, I am gonna make a top 5 gel products as well, so stay tuned for that as well. Until then, thank you for reading, and I shall see you later sweets.
